Aaron Harper, 31, was killed on the morning of March 22, 2026, during a series of violent shootings in Amarillo, Texas. Known to family and friends as Bacon, he loved motorcycles and working on anything with a motor; he is remembered as a devoted son, brother, father and friend who cared for his dogs and helped others. Harper and 33-year-old Courtney Holman were shot and killed at a storage facility near Loop 335 and North Western Street after an attempted robbery and altercation involving 41-year-old Dustin Johnson.

Johnson then continued a separate attack at a residence on Northwest 14th Avenue, where officers confronted him; he was shot and died at the scene. Aaron Harper’s memorial service was held April 6, 2026, at HIS Church in Amarillo.

Does anyone who knew Aaron or was near the storage facility that morning have information to share?
