Hey everyone, I recently came across the Bernard Kean case, and something that really stood out to me was the sheer unpredictability of the seizures he suffered in his final hours. It's hard to imagine waking up after falling asleep with such seemingly normal vitals, only to experience a seizure so violent. It's clear this wasn't just another night in the ICU. What's even more unsettling is how this pattern repeated itself for so many other patients, all under the night shift's watch. Living in a small town, it's terrifying to think how much trust we put into our local hospital staff, especially during vulnerable times. It's incredibly concerning how someone in a position of so much responsibility could, allegedly, have such devastating intentions. My heart goes out to Kean’s family and all the other families who lost loved ones. They must have felt blindsided by the turn of events. Has anyone found any detailed info on how staff coping mechanisms or oversight in such situations might have changed after this case? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
