A rural Forest Grove, Oregon property on Northwest Otis Lane became the scene of a premeditated mass killing on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Five people were shot multiple times with a .22-caliber weapon: 85-year-old Mary Elizabeth Kimsey; her daughter, 60-year-old Rowan Karla Kimsey; Rowan’s granddaughter, 26-year-old Stella Jade Kimsey; Stella’s friend, 26-year-old Linsey Mae Haraldsen; and Linsey’s partner, 27-year-old Alvin Raymond Chu. Several pets on the property were also killed and fires were set in an apparent attempt to conceal the crime.
Investigators identified 36-year-old Benjamin Charles Parker, the boyfriend of Stella Jade Kimsey, as the sole perpetrator. The violence reportedly began after Stella attempted to end the relationship. Parker fled the scene and was later found dead in his vehicle in Enumclaw, Washington, having died by what authorities believe was suicide. He had confessed the murders to his mother, who notified police.
With the suspect deceased, there has been no arrest or trial. Are there witnesses or neighbors who saw anything at the Northwest Otis Lane property on August 22 who can help clarify the timeline?
