On the evening of Friday, August 14, 2026, 16-year-old Biak Cin Hmung was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound in the 3000 block of Woodbridge Lane in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Police were called about 7:55 p.m. and discovered the youth deceased at the scene. The name Biak Cin Hmung indicates Burmese origins and suggests he was of Asian ethnicity.

Investigators concluded the shooting was believed to be accidental, and the probe identified another 16-year-old male who was present.
