Ra’heem Divine Mack, 18, was killed in an ambush-style shooting on the evening of August 13, 2026, in Bishopville, South Carolina. The attack happened near the intersection of Davis Street and Dogwood Drive when the vehicle Mack was in approached a stop sign and one or more people opened fire. Two juveniles were in the vehicle with Mack and were not physically harmed.

Law enforcement tied Mack’s death into a wider dispute that investigators said had produced multiple violent incidents in Lee County. Authorities linked his killing to at least two other shootings, including the fatal August 8, 2026, shooting of 43-year-old Shaquander Shavon Mixon and a separate shooting on Maple Drive on August 13. Within days, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested three suspects: 19-year-old Reginald Tyrone Epps III of Lynchburg on August 17, 2026; 17-year-old De’marcus Qualik Atkinson of Bishopville on August 18; and 18-year-old Ty’shyn Cortilus Williams of Camden on August 18. All three were charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and criminal conspiracy. Authorities said Epps was also charged in connection with the earlier Maple Drive shooting.

Anyone with information about these shootings or who knew Ra’heem Mack is asked to come forward to assist the ongoing investigation?
