Ray Anthony Suggs was 35 when he was shot and killed outside his home on Williams Street in Kinston, North Carolina, in the early hours of July 14, 2008. Around 2:30 a.m. Suggs was in his yard with a female friend when two unknown men armed with handguns approached and demanded money. One of the men shot Suggs, and both fled the scene.

A sketch of one suspect has been released and investigators from the Kinston Police Department and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation are asking the public for help.
