Dale Pearl Smith was 53 when she vanished from Columbus, Georgia, on Mother’s Day, May 10, 1987. She was last seen that afternoon by one of her daughters on Westmoreland Road and never made contact afterward. Beyond that final sighting, the timeline stops; no other witnesses to her disappearance are reported.

At the time she went missing she was described as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes, between 5 feet 0 inches and 5 feet 5 inches tall, and about 120 pounds. The clothing she wore that day is not known. The Columbus Police Department has periodically reissued details of her case to the public, but no significant new information has been reported.

Few concrete leads have emerged over the decades, leaving investigators and her family without answers. If anyone remembers Dale, her routines, or being on Westmoreland Road in Columbus on May 10, 1987, please share what you know.
