Debra Kay King was 22 and living on McKinley Avenue in Tacoma, Washington, when she was last seen by her sister-in-law on July 26, 1982. She left behind a young son and was not reported missing until August 12, 1982, a gap of more than two weeks between her last known contact and the official report.
From the start her disappearance was treated as endangered and foul play was suspected. She was described as a white female with blonde hair (which she may have dyed), blue eyes, a scar on her abdomen and an unknown tattoo on her left hand. Very few other details are available and the case eventually went cold.
Does anyone have memories of the Tacoma neighborhood or of Debra King from 1982 that could help fill the gaps in her timeline?
