Shawn D. Boyd, 22, was shot and killed on May 1, 2014, in the area of East Livingston Avenue and Lonsdale Road in Columbus, Ohio. Columbus police received reports of a shooting at about 12:55 p.m.; Boyd was found with a gunshot wound to the head and taken to Grant Medical Center, where he died shortly after arrival.

The circumstances of Boyd’s death remain unsolved. The Columbus Police Department’s Homicide Cold Case Unit has investigated and continues to seek public assistance; no suspects have been identified or apprehended.
