Jay Kovitch, 42, was killed in a hit-and-run on June 6, 2010, in Olmsted Township, Ohio. Around 2:57 a.m. police found him on Fitch Road near 7469; he had been struck while walking home a short distance from his residence and was pronounced dead at the scene. Heavy rainfall at the time reduced visibility and hampered evidence collection, and there were no eyewitnesses.
