Gerald Steven Polk, a 26-year-old Gulf War veteran, was last seen on December 21, 1991, at his home on Little Ranch Road in Hudson, Florida. In the weeks before he disappeared Polk had expressed depression and a fear that someone was after him, and he sometimes used the alias Gregory Scott Polk. He vanished from his home without a trace and has never been located.
Polk was described as between 6 feet 0 inches and 6 feet 3 inches tall, about 160 to 170 pounds, with brown curly hair and blue eyes. Authorities have long considered his case endangered missing and have suspected foul play given his mental state and the circumstances, but no concrete leads have emerged and the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate.
If anyone knew Gerald, his movements in late 1991, or remembers seeing him around Hudson that December, please contact investigators with any information.
