Damija Walls was 17 when he was shot on March 6, 2009, in San Francisco. He had been carrying groceries into a residence when unknown suspects opened fire. Walls was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and died of his injuries two days later.
The motive remains undetermined and the case is unresolved. The San Francisco Police Department continues to investigate, and the Mayor’s Office has authorized a $25,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Authorities are seeking witnesses and will accept anonymous tips through the police tip line.
Does anyone in San Francisco remember seeing something that night or have information that could help bring Damija’s family justice?
