Elizabeth Eisel was 23 when she vanished from the Seattle area and was last seen around September 3, 1985. A white woman with brown hair, green eyes and severely impaired sight who required contacts or glasses, she was described as 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 115 to 125 pounds. Since 1982 she had been using the name Danielle Deloge.

Adopted at birth, Elizabeth’s life had been turbulent: her adoptive mother and brother died in 1981, prompting a search for her biological family that led her to half-brother Steven Troy DeLoge. The two formed a relationship, had a son in 1983 and were living in Bellevue, Washington by early 1985. After a heated argument with Steven in August 1985 she and the child moved in with a new boyfriend; she reportedly planned to end the relationship with Steven after Labor Day. She left all her personal belongings behind and was not reported missing until 1988.

Steven later told others Elizabeth had left the area and abandoned their child. He married another woman from the complex and moved to northern Idaho by December 1985. Foul play is suspected and Steven DeLoge has been viewed as a prime suspect, but no charges have been filed in Elizabeth’s disappearance. Does anyone who knew Elizabeth or who lived in Bellevue in 1985 have information that could help explain what happened?
