Robyn Melanie Adler, 22, of Loxahatchee, Florida, was last seen May 19, 1983, after visiting her boyfriend and driving away in her red 1977 Toyota Celica on C Road in Loxahatchee. She was expected that evening at Bennigan’s Lounge in Tamarac but never arrived and was not heard from again.
Four days later the Celica was found crashed into a tree on a dirt road at 110th Avenue near M Canal in Royal Palm Beach. The car’s battery had been removed; Adler’s purse and handwritten directions to C Road were inside. Searches of the area turned up no sign of her, and investigators could not determine whether she had been injured in the crash. The investigation later shifted toward a possible homicide, but no significant leads have been reported.
Anyone with information about Robyn’s movements on May 19, 1983, or who remembers seeing a red 1977 Toyota Celica in that area is asked to come forward.
