Michael Dale McLaughlin was 45 when he vanished from Bristol, Virginia, on Christmas Day 2009 after a reported argument with his girlfriend. He left her home carrying a duffel bag and was last seen walking down Wagner Road near Malcolm Meat. At the time he was described as a white male, blond hair, blue eyes, 5 feet 5 inches, about 130 pounds, wearing jeans, a jacket and Timberland work boots. He had numerous scars on his abdomen and a tattoo of his nickname Bub on his upper right arm.

Michael’s last known financial activity was on December 9, 2009; there has been no bank activity or confirmed communication since December 25. The Bristol Police Department opened an investigation, but no significant leads have been reported and his family continues to seek answers. If anyone remembers seeing Michael on Wagner Road that day or has information about his movements in December 2009, please share what you know.
