Timothy Sewards was 32 when his body was found on January 14, 1995, in Chillicothe, Ohio. A passerby discovered him at about 10:25 a.m. in a vacant railroad yard at the corner of Rose and Main Streets, roughly 50 feet from East Main Street. Investigators determined Sewards had been shot twice in the head and believed he had died the night before.
The death remains unsolved and is listed in the Ohio Attorney General’s cold case investigations and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation statewide cold case database. Local law enforcement reports say no significant leads have emerged. Authorities are seeking information from anyone who might assist in identifying suspects or witnesses.
If anyone knew Sewards, saw the area that night, or has information that could help, please contact the Chillicothe Police Department or submit a tip through the Ohio Attorney General’s office.
