Jeffrey Tucker was assaulted outside 14305 Shaw Avenue in East Cleveland, Ohio, on October 24, 1994, at about 10:30 PM. He was found unconscious and taken to a hospital where he remained in a coma and under care for nearly three years.

Tucker died on April 19, 1997, from the injuries sustained in that assault. The case remains unsolved. The East Cleveland Police Department and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation continue to pursue leads, and the Ohio Attorney General’s Office has highlighted the cold case to generate new visibility and tips.
