Gregory Netter was 22 when he was fatally shot on December 10, 1992, in Columbus, Ohio. He had been visiting a friend at a residence on Republic Avenue when a gunshot struck his leg; despite that wound he did not survive.

The homicide remains unsolved. The Columbus Police Department continues to investigate, and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation lists the case and is asking anyone with information to come forward. Tips are being solicited in hopes of bringing closure to Netter’s family.
