On March 13, 1992, 44-year-old engineer Raymond Timbrook was found shot to death in Kirtland Hills, Ohio. His body was discovered slumped over the steering wheel of his car on Hunting Hills Drive, the engine and heater still running. He had been shot twice in the head in an apparent execution-style killing in a then-secluded, underdeveloped area now surrounded by homes.
Raymond worked at CT Consultants and was recently divorced, leaving two teenage sons, Bryon and Scott. The investigation showed early activity, including presentations to a grand jury in 1992 and 1994, but no charges were filed and the case eventually went cold. The Kirtland Hills police department and the Lake County Prosecutor’s office have kept the file technically open but say there are no active leads.
At the funeral a woman unknown to the family claimed to be engaged to Raymond; she later retained a lawyer and declined to cooperate with investigators. Family members have also reported rumors of a possible love triangle involving a CT executive and suspect the killing could be work-related or carried out by a hired gunman. Does anyone have information about Raymond’s relationships, work, or movements around March 1992 that could help his family find answers?
