John Deane Rescorl was 53 when he was last seen on September 16, 2002, in Morongo Valley, California. He was taking medication for an unspecified psychological condition at the time and reportedly left all of his personal belongings behind, which heightened concern for his welfare.

Described as a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall and about 160 pounds, Rescorl had brown hair and hazel eyes and may have had a beard or mustache when he disappeared. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department investigated but no significant leads have been reported and his status remains missing.
