Jeffrey Alexander was 33 when he was killed by a gunshot on February 26, 1991, in Columbus, Ohio. The shooting occurred near the intersection of 23rd and Cleveland Avenue in Franklin County; Alexander died the same day from his wound.

The Columbus Police Department investigated and the case remains unsolved. The Ohio Attorney General’s Office and the Columbus Police Department have repeatedly appealed for tips and list the case in the state’s unsolved homicide database, where it remains under review.
