Robin M. Durrer was 19 and a resident of the Village of Reese in Franklin County, Ohio when she was murdered on September 10, 1981. She was last seen the evening of September 9, 1981, riding her bicycle near her home and was reported missing when she did not return. Her body was found the next day along the C&O railroad off Rathmell Road.

Robin had been sexually assaulted and died of blunt force trauma to the head and neck. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation continue to investigate and say no suspects have been identified. Investigators believe someone in the community may have information that could help solve this case.
