On May 5, 2008, 29-year-old Jr. Williamson was shot to death in Long Beach, California. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds after neighbors reported hearing gunfire late at night; first responders arrived quickly but Williamson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have struggled to identify the shooter. Witnesses gave only limited descriptions or declined to cooperate, and police suspect the killing may be gang-related because of the neighborhood’s history of violence and Williamson’s known affiliations. No arrests were announced, and the case is now classified as a cold case by the Long Beach Police Department, which continues to seek tips and encourages residents to come forward, including anonymously.
Did anyone in Long Beach know Jr. Williamson, his routines, or have information about that night that could help solve this homicide?
