Fabian Del Rosario, 20, was last seen driving his brown 1979 Datsun 280ZX in Boulder, Colorado, on the evening of August 28, 1987. A University of Colorado student studying international business, he dropped a friend off near 30th Street and Colorado Avenue around 7:00 PM and planned to pick up his girlfriend after her 7:30 PM shift. The friend said Fabian seemed in good spirits; he never arrived at his girlfriend’s workplace and was not seen again.

On the morning of August 31, 1987, a Boulder police officer found Fabian’s Datsun abandoned in the Crossroads Mall parking lot near 30th Street and Walnut Avenue. A substantial amount of blood was in the passenger compartment, and foul play is suspected. Investigators have noted possible links to drug distribution, specifically movement of cocaine between Miami and Colorado, but it is not clear whether that led to his disappearance.

Fabian was from Miami, Florida, 5 feet 11 inches tall, about 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Does anyone who knew Fabian or saw that Datsun around late August 1987 have information that could help explain what happened?
