Jesus Vasquez was 35 when he was found dead in a bar parking lot in southwest Oklahoma City in the early morning of July 27, 2015. Officers arrived about 2:40 a.m. and discovered him near a car with trauma injuries described as consistent with homicide; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives photographed and taped off the area, canvassed for witnesses and security footage, and appealed to the public for tips. The case was recorded as Oklahoma City’s 49th homicide of 2015.
