Wanda Lee Kores was 68 when she disappeared in Seattle in January 1985 after being dropped off to browse stores on a planned shopping trip. She was last seen wearing a brown or tan leather jacket, red or pink slacks, a white sweater, white shoes, and possibly a multi-colored stocking cap. Her family reported her missing to the Seattle Police Department on January 29, 1985.
Wanda was a wife and mother who suffered from diabetes and a mental disorder, details that made her especially vulnerable and concerned loved ones from the start. There were no witnesses who recalled seeing her board a bus home, and investigators found no clear indication of foul play in the initial inquiry. The case eventually grew cold, though the investigation remains officially open.
Does anyone remember seeing Wanda around downtown Seattle in January 1985 or have information about her last movements that could help the family?
