Christina Stevens, 54, of Redding, California, was found dead on November 9, 2007, after firefighters responded to a house fire at her home on Old Oregon Trail. Investigators believe the fire was set deliberately to conceal her murder, and the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office led the investigation.

Despite rewards and outreach through the Secret Witness Program, which has offered up to $10,000 for tips, the case produced few immediate leads and remained unsolved for years. Her death was one of several troubling unsolved homicides in Shasta County from that period, and the community has continued to hope for answers.
