Roseanna Marie Forcum was 15 when she was last seen on August 12, 1998, in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She left her father’s apartment that day with a friend, April Geyer, after an argument. The two girls had a pattern of occasionally disappearing for short periods and sometimes contacting family while gone, but on this occasion neither returned or made contact; both families reported them missing later that month.
Before she vanished, Roseanna attended an alternative learning center because of truancy and had recent brushes with the law, having completed a youth offender program earlier that summer. Investigators believe foul play may be involved: unverified reports placed the pair at a party in St. Paul and suggested they could have been harmed afterward. Searches, including an excavation near Wadena, Minnesota, produced no evidence.
Roseanna’s case remains unsolved and investigators continue to seek information about her and April’s whereabouts. If anyone has information about Roseanna or April from August 1998 or recalls seeing them around St. Cloud or St. Paul, please come forward.
