Nakia Pyatt, 40, was shot and killed during a home invasion at his Frankford residence on January 16, 2016. Police responded to the 4600 block of Penn Street at about 10 a.m. and found him in the living room with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to Temple University Hospital and died that night.

Investigators say the front door had been forcibly opened, and robbery is believed to have been the motive. The case remains unsolved and detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them.
