Rosalind Allen Wall, known as Roz, was 29 when she disappeared from Southport, North Carolina. She was last seen about midnight on February 12, 1995, at a home on 306 Fodale Avenue. Two days later her boyfriend reported her missing. She worked at Skipper’s Lounge and had recently earned an associate’s degree in electronics from Brunswick Community College, with plans to relocate for a job using her tax refund — a check that never arrived. She also never collected her final paycheck and left her car behind.
Family and friends described her as a devoted mother to her son and very social, though her mother said Rosalind could experience significant mood swings and depression. She had distinctive tattoos: a butterfly on her right shoulder blade, another on her buttocks, a black widow spider on a shoulder and a purple flower on her left ankle, plus a scar on her inner left arm. Investigators have treated the disappearance as suspicious; the boyfriend was later convicted of false imprisonment in an unrelated 1992 incident involving her son and served two years.
Does anyone who knew Roz or lived in Southport in early 1995 have information that could help clarify what happened?
