Tina Ledet was 35 when she disappeared from Gretna, Louisiana, on December 18, 1993. That afternoon her 15-year-old daughter saw her and thought she seemed under the influence. That evening Tina went to the Brass Eagle Lounge on Stumpf Boulevard with two men named Troy Gourgues and a man known as Rocky. Witnesses said Tina spoke with another man at the bar, described as having a shaved head and tattoos, and accounts suggest she left with that tattooed man. She was last seen wearing a pink and white shirt, blue jeans, and pink Reebok shoes.
Tina had previously been missing for three months before 1993, a fact that complicates the case. About a year after she vanished someone reportedly called her former employer to request a credit check on her name; the employer refused when told she was missing. Tina’s daughter has continued to press for answers and has shared information publicly. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office lists the investigation as open.
If anyone saw Tina at the Brass Eagle or remembers a tattooed man leaving with her that night, please share what you know.
