Dorothy Dotty Davidson, 39, was last seen at her Winter Park, Florida home on August 10, 1986, and was reported missing the next day after she failed to show up for work at Southern Bell. Coworkers who became concerned contacted her twin sister, who then notified police.

Investigators found four .25-caliber shell casings and one bullet on the floor of her residence, along with several missing items including a bedspread, two pillows, and Davidson’s purse. Her car remained at the scene, and authorities reported no signs of a struggle. A .25-caliber handgun belonging to a friend was later found to be missing from the home, and police identified a potential suspect. The disappearance is classified as an endangered missing person case, and investigators suspect foul play.

Are there readers who knew Dotty, her routines in Winter Park, or who have any information that could help resolve what happened to her?
