Sally Anne Stone, 21, disappeared from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, after leaving a physical therapist’s office on May 16, 1986. She had lived in the area only two months and worked (when able) as an exotic dancer at the Kon Tiki nightclub in State Line, Idaho, under the stage name Satania, but a knee injury had kept her from working for several months. She missed a follow-up therapy appointment on May 19 and was reported missing by her husband over Memorial Day weekend after she failed to visit him in jail.

Investigators found no signs of a struggle at her home on the 1700 block of Elm Street. Her 1974 Chevrolet Nova was parked outside with a bag of stale donuts inside; suitcases and clothing remained in her closet, newspapers had piled on the porch, and an insurance check and a letter from her mother were left in the mailbox. Her purse was missing.

The case has been actively investigated with no public breakthroughs and has been discussed alongside the March 1986 disappearance of Deborah Swanson and the 1987 abduction of Julie Weflen as possible links. Does anyone who knew Sally in Coeur d’Alene or who worked at the Kon Tiki in 1986 have information that could help clarify what happened?
