Michelle Lee, also known as Eddie Chung Chou Lee, was 42 when she was found murdered on February 28, 2005, near her home on Cliffside Drive in Daly City, California. Her body, dressed in women’s clothing, bore multiple stab wounds and was discovered close to Westlake Park. Authorities long believed the attack may have been linked to her work as a sex worker.

Investigators searched Michelle’s personal records, including phone logs and her computer, but were unable to identify a clear suspect or motive. Her relative isolation and lack of close acquaintances, and the possibility that stigma toward transgender people discouraged witnesses from coming forward, complicated the inquiry. The murder remains unsolved and the case is cold.

If anyone knew Michelle, saw her that day, or has information that might help, please come forward.
