Quasay Johnson was 31 and living in an apartment on the 7000 block of North 15th Street in West Oak Lane, Philadelphia when he was shot and killed in the early hours of April 20, 2012. Police say a phone call drew him out to the building’s vestibule; witnesses reported an argument followed by gunfire. Johnson was struck three times in the chest and once in an arm and was pronounced dead at the scene just after 12:30 a.m.
Witnesses told investigators two men ran from the building’s entrance immediately after the shooting. No arrests were made and the case remained open and unsolved as of April 2012. If anyone was in the area that night or has information about who made the call or the two men seen running from the entrance, please come forward.
