Lorraine Zazueta was 19 when her body was found on July 22, 2000, along Swarthout Canyon Road near Lone Canyon Road in Devore, California. She had been missing since May 31, 2000, and was last seen in the company of several Hispanic males. Known by the nickname Ne Ne, Lorraine was a mother of two young children—an infant and a toddler—when she disappeared.
Her remains were located in a remote area, and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has classified the case as a cold case. No suspects have been publicly identified, and the investigation remains active as authorities seek new leads to bring answers to her family. If anyone has information about Lorraine’s movements between May 31 and July 22, or about the men she was last seen with, please come forward to the Sheriff’s Office.
