I'm always struck by how tight-knit communities often rally together during tragedies like the one that happened to the Mizunos back in '98. I've been following this case, and it's always puzzled me how such a devastating event with an arson ruling hasn't seen more progress over the years. Daly City isn't huge, and I imagine there are still people around who might have seen something or remember details that seemed small back then but could be crucial now. It's so brave how close friends and family have kept the memory of Midori and Keiryo alive, pushing for justice over the years. I really hope sharing their story can jog someone's memory and finally bring some answers and peace to their loved ones.

Hey everyone, I'm new here and have been reading about the Mizuno case in Daly City. It really got me thinking about the impact on their neighbors in the building that night. I can't imagine the fear and chaos they must have experienced as they tried to escape the fire. It bothers me that this remains unsolved for so long, always hanging over those who lived there and knew the couple. Was there ever any support or community gathering to help them cope? It seems like something that would deeply affect everyone involved. I hope there's renewed attention on this case someday, bringing the Mizunos and their neighbors some peace. Anyone else have thoughts on how these ripple effects can be addressed?

I recently came across the tragic case of Midori and Keiryo Mizuno, and it just breaks my heart. The fact that their family and friends still don’t have answers after all these years is just unimaginable. I was thinking about the community aspect of this case. Poncetta Drive, where they lived, must have such a somber history now. Can anyone from the area share how this has impacted their neighborhood over the years? I imagine that the psychological impact of knowing an arsonist was responsible and hasn’t been caught must linger. It’s awful to think about what those close to the Mizunos must be feeling, knowing justice still hasn’t been served. Keeping them all in my thoughts and hoping for some developments in this case.
