Michael Daniel Harp, 23, was last seen on March 23, 1977, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He was observed leaving a hospital on South Telshor Boulevard where he had been treated for an unspecified medical condition, then later seen hitchhiking along Interstate 25 near the hospital. A truck driver later reported picking up a hitchhiker matching Harp’s description and dropping him off south of Albuquerque, but that sighting was never confirmed.

Harp was color-blind and legally blind with vision of 20/200. He had large pupils that made his eyes appear darker, and scars on his abdomen and on his index finger. At the time he vanished he was wearing a white shirt and dark brown pants. Searches and investigations have turned up no further trace and the case is classified as endangered missing.

If anyone who lived or worked along South Telshor Boulevard or Interstate 25 in late March 1977 remembers seeing Michael or has information that could help, please share what you know.
