Cherilyn Hawkley, an elementary school teacher, was abducted on October 29, 1993 as she left the school where she worked in Granite Bay, California. Two days later a sheriff’s deputy found her van parked on the side of a road less than a mile from the school. Inside the vehicle were Cherilyn’s remains; an autopsy ruled the cause of death as strangling.

By the end of 1993 officials had produced a composite drawing of a person seen at the elementary school between 4:00 and 5:00 pm on the day Cherilyn disappeared.

If anyone was in the Granite Bay area that afternoon in late October 1993 and remembers seeing someone near the school or the van, please come forward with what was seen.
