Charles Crafton was 24 when he was found incoherent on Woodland Street near East 9th Street in Columbia, Tennessee, on Monday, April 3, 2006. Emergency transport took him to Vanderbilt Hospital, where doctors treated severe blunt force trauma; he later died and his death was ruled a homicide.
The Columbia Police Department investigated, but the initial probe did not produce arrests or identified suspects. The case went cold, and the death remains listed as an unsolved homicide. Investigators have periodically appealed to the public for any information that might clarify what happened that April day.
Who in the area at that time might remember seeing Charles or unusual activity around Woodland Street on April 3, 2006?
