Floyd Oscar Jr., 43, was shot and killed on July 11, 2017, in Houston, Texas. The shooting occurred about 3:45 a.m. in front of an apartment complex at 12345 Bob White Drive. According to the Houston Police Department, Oscar was standing in a driveway when three unknown males approached; one attempted to rob him, a struggle followed, and one of the suspects produced a gun and shot him. Paramedics pronounced Oscar dead shortly after arrival.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Elsbury and Officer K. Elliott led the investigation and reported there were no immediate suspects; the assailants fled before police arrived. Authorities have appealed for public assistance and encouraged anyone with information to contact the Houston Police Department Homicide Division or Crime Stoppers; a reward is being offered for tips that could lead to an arrest.

Does anyone have information about that early-morning incident on Bob White Drive or saw suspicious activity in the area that night?
