Emily Diedre Joy Stanker, 41, was last seen in Tacoma, Washington, on April 5, 2024. A Pierce County resident who was experiencing homelessness at the time, her last known whereabouts were in the South Hill area near Puyallup. Her sister reported her missing and her sons have had no contact with her since that date.

Investigators have followed a reported sighting of Emily working at a Dollar Tree in Graham, Washington, though the timing of that sighting is not precise. The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation with assistance from the Washington State Patrol’s Missing and Unidentified Persons Unit. Family and law enforcement say the lack of contact is out of character and are asking the public for any information that could help locate her.

If anyone saw Emily in April 2024 or afterward, or has information about her movements in South Hill, Puyallup, or Graham, please come forward to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
