George Jackson was 29 when he was shot and killed in Houston on November 12, 2015. Late that night he and a friend were driving on Beechnut Street; after their vehicle struck a curb Jackson pulled into the Leawood Plaza apartment complex parking lot to inspect the damage. While Jackson was outside the car an unknown suspect approached. Jackson’s friend, still inside the vehicle, heard an argument and a single gunshot, then saw the suspect flee. The friend drove Jackson to a hospital, but Jackson died of his wounds.

The Houston Police Department opened a homicide investigation and asked the public to contact the Homicide Division or Crime Stoppers with tips. The case remains unsolved. Does anyone who was in the Beechnut Street or Leawood Plaza area that night recall anything that could help investigators?
