Epifanio Martinez, 63, was fatally shot in Houston, Texas, on September 1, 2015, around 5:30 a.m. He and a friend were waiting in Martinez’s front yard to be picked up for work when two young men approached after exiting a gray or light-colored sedan driven by a third person. One armed suspect threatened Martinez’s friend and demanded money; a struggle then broke out when attention turned to Martinez, and he was shot once and pronounced dead at the scene. The suspects fled immediately in the sedan.

Police described the armed suspect as about 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 7 inches, medium build, unshaven, wearing brown shorts and a black T-shirt. The second suspect was similar in build, about 5 feet 6 inches, and had a thin goatee. The Houston Police Department asked anyone with information to contact investigators.

Are there witnesses or neighbors who remember seeing the gray or light-colored sedan or those men that morning and can provide tips to police?
