Hey everyone, I’ve been reading through the details of Brian Erickson’s case, and something that stands out to me is the discovery of his wallet in a storm drain before his body was found. This seems significant. Could it suggest that whoever was involved might have tried to stage a robbery or was trying to dispose of incriminating belongings? I can’t imagine how his loved ones feel, not knowing who did this or why. It’s haunting to think about how long Brian remained in his car before he was discovered. The fact there are no witnesses is so unnerving. Was anything ever mentioned about possible connections he had while briefly staying in Berkeley? I feel like his status as a drifter might make it easy for authorities to overlook potential links in his social circle. If anyone has any other thoughts, I'd love to hear them. It's so frustrating when cases like these go unsolved, and I really hope we’ll see some progress, even all these years later. Stay safe out there, everyone.

Does anyone else find the discovery of Brian Erickson's wallet in a storm drain really unsettling? It was found a whole month before his body was discovered, which makes me wonder if someone tried to get rid of evidence soon after the crime was committed. The timing is so strange. It's as if someone wanted to throw investigators off track or maybe even send a message. Considering it was found in South San Francisco, it could suggest there was some movement involved, possibly meaning other places or people were connected to his death. I can't imagine what his family went through during that time, knowing clues were found yet still having no answers. Such a tragic and frustrating case. Sending thoughts to his loved ones. ?
