Ella Saylor, 15, of Muncie, Indiana, has been missing since February 3, 2024. Her family reported her absence after waking to find the front door unsecured and Ella’s bedroom empty. A Silver Alert was issued February 4 because authorities consider her high risk and potentially in need of medical assistance.

Ella is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, about 230 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie with Washington D.C. on it and puzzle-patterned pajama pants. Family members say the night she disappeared seemed normal: they spent time together, had takeout and said affectionate goodbyes. Although Ella had tried to leave home before and returned within a few days, her family is especially concerned this time because of mental health challenges.

Investigators and family are urging the public to share information and contact the Muncie Police Department or call 911 with any tips. If anyone knew Ella’s routines, recent contacts, or where she might have gone, please come forward.
