On June 17, 2015, 18-year-old Christian Carvajal was shot and killed during an attempted robbery at Lincoln Grocery Store in Fort Worth, Texas. Around 2 p.m. Carvajal entered the store armed with a shotgun and was accompanied by two others. While an accomplice demanded money, Carvajal aimed the shotgun at the owner. The owner handed over his wallet, then retrieved a firearm and shot Carvajal; emergency responders pronounced Carvajal dead at the scene. The owner, who had run the family business for about 30 years, was unhurt and residents voiced support for his actions. The Fort Worth Police Department said the owner’s response was potentially acceptable because he feared for his life, and no charges had been filed against him as of the latest reports. The two other suspects fled and remained at large; authorities asked anyone with information to come forward.

If anyone knew the two people who fled or has information about that day, please share what is known with investigators.
