Dameon Johnson, 36, was found shot to death on March 19, 2013, in northeast Houston. Authorities discovered his body in a ditch along the 8200 block of Peachtree near Weaver Road at about 7:20 a.m. after a call about a traffic incident. His white 2008 Chevrolet 1500 pickup was located in another ditch across the street but showed no sign of a crash; investigators found no blood inside the truck, indicating he was shot outside the vehicle. Residents reported hearing two gunshots before Johnson was found.

Police say Johnson had been on his way to work at an AutoZone on Jensen Drive when he was ambushed and shot multiple times. There was little evidence at the scene to identify a suspect or motive, and five years later his family and the Houston Police held a news conference to renew pleas for information. No suspects have been identified and the case remains unsolved; authorities offered a reward and asked anyone with information to contact the Houston Police Department Homicide Division or Crime Stoppers.

Did anyone in the Peachtree or Weaver Road area that morning see anything that might help identify who ambushed Johnson?
