On December 31, 2012, 56-year-old Glen McDonald was found dead inside his Houston residence after neighbors, who had not seen him for several days, prompted a welfare check. Officers discovered multiple stab wounds and apparent signs of trauma; investigators treated the death as a homicide. The scene reportedly showed no signs of forced entry, which led detectives to consider that McDonald may have known his attacker.
Neighbors described McDonald as a quiet man who kept to himself, and no clear motive had emerged. The Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division conducted interviews and collected evidence, but no suspects were immediately identified and the case remained unsolved. Detectives continued periodically reviewing evidence and following leads.
Anyone with information about Glen McDonald’s death is asked to contact the Houston Police Department.
