Nicholas Ray Holliman, 33, of Fort Worth, Texas, was shot and killed on June 26, 2012. His death is an unsolved homicide and is listed among the cold cases the Fort Worth Police Department continues to investigate.
The Fort Worth Cold Case Unit has kept Holliman’s file active, but no new leads have surfaced to identify a suspect. The department’s cold case work includes revisiting evidence with modern forensic methods such as DNA testing and genealogy research; staffing is limited, with only one full-time detective assigned to cold cases, and the unit relies on community tips to generate leads.
The case remains open indefinitely in hopes that technological advances or witness information will eventually produce a breakthrough. If anyone knew Nicholas, saw something related to the June 26, 2012 shooting, or has information that could help, please come forward.
